Victor Scherrer (1943 – 2022) was a Belgian born French industrialist, author and great art collector. He was the collector of several of my paintings. This picture was taken at my exhibition at Musée de l’Affiche Paris in 1993.

1980. Marcel Marceau (1923 – 2007). This was a privileged moment with this famous and legendary mime artist at my home in Paris. He taught me the art of silence.
2015. Alain Bonnefoit in his atelier in Montmartre, Paris. His distinctive style is characteristically sensuous with elegant depictions of the female form. I met him when I was a sweeper in the lithography printshop in Cachan, Paris. He helped organise my first exhibition in Paris in 1974, just a year after I arrived in France.
1984. Film maker Satyajit Ray came to Paris for some film festival when we met again. We used to always meet in Kolkata during my different visits there from Paris.
2018 exhibition in Galerie 203 Montreal, Canada. Yoga teacher Jasmine was inspired by my paintings to do her yoga in front of them. Behind, another visitor is rebuilding my Desordré painting.
