In the outside concrete wall of the staircase, Sen visualized a large canvas. He wanted to take an advantage of this space to paint bright colours in asymmetric form. So he put in all colours that he uses for his paintings. He says watching the bright colours interspersed with the trees energize him with the spirit of dynamism for his everyday work at his atelier which is just atop the staircase.
